Solar Energy Laminating Machine Process Parameters
Temperature: The temperature of the solar panel laminator must be carefully controlled to ensure the successful bonding of the layers. The optimal temperature range is typically between 140-150°C. This temperature range ensures that the layers are bonded properly without causing damage to any of the layers.
Pressure: Adequate pressure is necessary to ensure the proper bonding of the solar panel layers.
Dwell Time: The dwell time refers to the amount of time that each panel layer spends in the solar panel laminator. The dwell time is typically between 20-35 minutes, depending on the size and thickness of the layers.
Vacuum: The solar panel laminator utilizes a vacuum system to eliminate any trapped air between the layers. The vacuum system ensures that the layers are in full contact with each other and that there are no air pockets, which could significantly reduce the overall panel efficiency.
Curing Time: After the panel layers are bonded together, the panel is allowed to cure in a cooling area to increase the strength of the bond. The curing time depending on the type of panel and the specific adhesive used.

The lamination cost mainly depends on electricity consumption. Reducing the electricity consumption comes as the best choice to reduce the cost. Compared with other electrical heating laminators of the same size, our company’s products save over 10% energy by adopting the accurate AI temperature control and using premium composite materials to reduce the heat loss.

Higher heating temperatures
Both layers can realize double-sided heating, with the highest heating temperature up to 180℃. The deviation of temperature control is within ±1.5℃. The laminators can fully meet the heating requirement of PVB film to shorten the lamination time by two minutes, reducing the circulation time and increasing the throughput.

Bigger size
The laminators can be customized to have a big effective lamination area up to 2,900*12,500mm which is 34% larger than the conventional laminator. Our laminators can accommodate eight 2,600*1,450mm panels, and can laminate up to nine 182mm solar panels at a time, which means 2 more panels than conventional laminators on the market.
